Spend an afternoon or evening with CWB volunteer Clay Gustaves, captain of the beautiful SEA FEVER, a 51’ custom sloop designed by Seattle Naval Architect Ben Seaborn and built in 1956 by Vic Franck Boat Company. Once called a “Chris Craft with a mast,” enjoy SEA FEVER’s bright open cabin below deck with catered refreshments as well as the captain’s knowledge of sailing in the Pacific Northwest and hospitality of Pottery Northwest board member Allison Kramer.

Join Skipper Charles Hill and his crew on a race through the Puget Sound on the award winning racing boat, DIFFERENT DRUMMER. This scenic ride begins at CWB and will be accompanied with wine and cheese. Your hosts are Captain Bob and Liz Lamson, the boat’s owners. For your cruise, you will be picked up and dropped off at The Center for Wooden Boats. This wine and cheese excursion covers interesting shoreline sites throughout Lake Union and Lake Washington.  You choose the time of day. Late afternoon and sunset time is particularly beautiful.

Dinner Cruise on THELONIUS

An adventure for four aboard the classic yacht THELONIUS. Join Tina Stotz and Larry Benson, for a three-hour cruise through the Ship Canal, Lake Union and Portage Bay while enjoying a delicious luncheon or dinner. Also aboard will be celebrity guest Brandt Faatz, the Executive Director of The Center for Wooden Boats. THELONIUS is fully enclosed, has a furnace to keep you toasty inside, whatever the weather outside, and is equipped with a marine head. EP CARRY Motor System

The new EP CARRY Motor system is the only motor system designed just for dinghies and other small craft, providing lightweight, efficient, simple-to-use power systems.   EP CARRY recently won the Innovation Award at the Miami Int'l Boat Show Innovation Award for its quiet and safe electric power and unique, patented features for control, comfort and safety. Since the motor weighs only 14 lbs, and the buoyant battery pack 6.4lbs, both are easily hand-carried or handed down to a dinghy. They run for 1 to 3 hours, depending on the power level you set.  Most small boats can expect speeds of 3.5 to 4.2 kts, providing a distance range of 3-6 nautical miles on one battery charge.

Historic Tour of Lake Union

A personally narrated historic tour by Ken Meyer aboard his classic yacht PATAMAR. This fun & informative 3-4 hour tour is on his beautiful 1937 Bridgedeck Cruiser. The tour itself can be 2-3 hours, depending upon your interest and curiosity. Finish the day with a leisurely lunch at the Seattle Yacht Club's Marine Room. A convenient pick up and drop off can be arranged with Ken when you pick your date.
